Optimizing Your Investment Account Returns With Options - Part 3 - Rolling, Rolling, Rolling
How We Incorporate Rolling Options Into Our Strategy
You opened an option position. Great! congrats on entering the exciting world of options.
But now you have options that are closing in on their maturity date and want to know what to do. Well, we got you Anon.
We introduced you to rolling options in our free post earlier this week. In the free post we covered the basics and gave some generalized examples of how and when you would roll options.
Well, now we keep rolling with rolling options in this weeks subscriber only post.
We will use actual real-life positions and show the actual type of rolls we would/could/might do in our portfolio. It is always nice to talk in the theoretical, but having real illustrative examples are the best way to learn.
First, we will show screenshots from our account and walk through the UI/UX so you can see the actual trade screens. Then once you know what to expect, we will show 4 different trades that cover the 3 strategies of rolling options we discussed (“rolling out”, “rolling out & up”, and “rolling out & down”).
Let’s get started.
