There is always a bunch of topics/thoughts that I don’t feel like they need a full article devoted to them.

So once a quarter, I’ll pull a few of these and throw them into a post of random topics.

Since the opportunity passed, here is some free alpha for above the paywall - if you aren’t already on the distribution lists for buying groups, get on them. It is the easiest, basically no-risk, full reward, dollar-per-hour thing in the world.

This Friday there was an opportunity to buy a coin from the US Mint and you could get $90 in commission (plus a few bucks in cash back credit card spend):

These mint coin opportunities pop up a few times a year, and then fairly regularly you can buy other items for commission and cash back on credit cards.

Buy the item. Print shipping label. Mail it. Get check. Takes maybe 10 minutes total depending on your nearest shipping location. This deal works out to a few hundred dollars an hour rate.
