It feels liked I haven’t done a quarterly random thought post in a while. This is a run down of topics that likely don’t need a full post on but deserve some pen to paper.

This quarter we will cover how cars can be a burden, the recent crypto pump and some thoughts of what to do, not winding up a miserable boomer in retirement (from oversaving nor from undersaving), and lowering your property taxes.

But before getting to the paywall, I would love to hear if anyone is having any issues from tariffs. It seems to be such an all-encompassing issue in the meta-narrative of TV, social media, peers, and the general population. But day-to-day I haven’t seen any impact. When people bring it up and I ask ‘where are you seeing it’ I tend to only get vague talking points. I would love to hear what and where it is hitting people to actually better understand what the impacts of it all might be.

So if have any first-hand experience with the subject and not just some economic textbook theory of how it impacts the economy, please take a minute and comment below:

With that all out of the way, lets get into this weeks post of useful random thoughts.
